Types of Classes

Beginner & Workout Classes Designed for students with little to no belly dance experience. These classes are ongoing, you can start anytime. Click on a class to learn more. Class Cost: $12.00 Drop In Rate or Purchase a Class Card and save $2.00 per class. Drop-in anytime and pay the $12.00 rate. These are the classes to take if you just want to try out bellydancing or can't do a long term commitment. (class cards come in $50 and $100 denominations) |
Beginner II Classes These classes are more structured and have a definite start and end date. Suitable for students with previous belly dance training. Beginner II and Above classes run in 4 or 6 week sessions. 4 weeks (4 classes) = $40.00 6 weeks (6 classes) = $60.00 You can only enroll in the first two weeks of a given session and drop-ins are not allowed unless otherwise noted. |
Intermediate & Advanced These classes require more commitment and at-home practice. Classes are challenging and cover props, layering and many intermediate and advanced moves. Students must have a solid background in belly dance beginner and intermediate topics. These classes run in 6 or 8 week sessions. 6 weeks (6 classes) = $60.00 8 weeks (8 classes) = $80.00 You can only enroll in the first two weeks of a given session and drop-ins are not allowed unless otherwise noted. |
Workshops and Special Sessions Most of these classes are open to all levels. Classes vary by day, time, location and specialty. We frequently invite guest dancers to host one-day workshops. Click on a class to learn more. |
